Visitors at a new Hotel

I won't change the original date of this post because I am afraid you won't know to go back and look for it - **However, this post refers to a weekend towards the end of October.



We got our first "package" from home when our Friends Paul and Charlene arrived. We drove up to a hotel by the airport where they were staying to spend some time with them and get our goodies from home.







We let the kids play outside and Abby and Gillian took turns taking pictures of us with my camera - so I figured I had better post a rare picture of me, since I am usually behind the camera.









The kids had fun exploring out by the pool - unfortunately we didn't have our swimsuits with us. Steven tried the limits of "don't go into the pool" and finally Mom decided that a little wading wouldn't hurt. (of course Steven came home completely soaked!)























The girls had fun playing hairdresser with Bill... Thanks for being a good sport!



















There was fun to be had inside the hotel too. We had fun visiting with Paul, and the girls sang "Chicken Lips" with Charlene (a camp song that they remembered her leading at family camp).



















We also had a bit of a look around the hotel, checked out the cool opening in the middle of the hotel that allowed you to see down to the main floor from each level, and the long dark hallways, and crammed into the small elevator for a ride...




















But, the most important part of our visit was the reuniting of old friends. Steven's best friend and teddy-bear, Brian, was accidentally left behind and he was more than releived to be with him again. Thanks again to Paul and Charlene for bringing him.
