Early the morning of Valentine's Day, a miracle happened and I was able to whip up a table set for Love! I was feeling badly that I couldn't pull off the traditional Valentine's day spread. I remember waking up to heart-shaped pancakes, personalized cookies piped with our names on them, hand made valentines, and frilly red and white doilies, and don't forget the little sweet-tart hearts! ... So, back to my story and enough reminiscing. As, I said I was certain I couldn't live up to Manya's reputation for making holidays special and I went to bed the night before resigned to try harder and be prepared for next year. As I was pulling out an extra blanket (trying to keep that heating bill down by using more blankets) one of the scripts I had brought fell to the floor. Coincidentally, my drama classes are nearing the end of the current project and I thought I might preview the scripts I had brought, to see if we could use them. As I settled in for the night, still feeling remorseful for not having ANYTHING to make Valentine's Day special, I cracked open one of the scripts and out fell a shiny page of red heart stickers. Seriously! God is Good! I love how he provides for me in the little things that mean so much to me! The next morning, feeling inspired by my own special Valentine miracle, I was able to scrounge up some shiny red ribbon and some pink tissue paper, and Voila! The kids were seriously impressed! (Of course, it still didn't compare to Mom's Valentine's Day breakfast table, but it was good enough!)
