The new LOOK!

At First we left things how they were arranged when we arrived... (click on the blue, underlined words to link to the blog with before pictures) but within twenty four hours I gave in to the compulsion to MOVE FURNITURE!!! Since then, I have been so busy that it has been pretty easy to keep the furniture-moving-itch at bay... but after Christmas, having received a new rug and mirror... I couldn't fight the compulsion again. Here is how it looks now. If you come for a visit, you can see that it is even more spectacular in person!

(Did anyone notice that the fireplace looks like it has actually been used, now? Yes, we enjoyed a few weeks of fires to celebrate the holiday season - Steven is now a bonafide member of the pyromaniacs of my family! He was very well behaved... and VERY eager to help!
