Cold Season

Yes, it does get cold here! In fact yesterday we were only ten degrees warmer than the chilly NorthWest - and no one here has central heating, so it seems colder in the buildings. In any case, that is not the kind of cold I am talking about. I am talking about sickness. Our family has already been through the rounds of cold and flu season and I am convinced that we won't get the sniffles again! ...Why? Because my dear mommy mailed me cold medicine for the kids, and I finally got around to making my famous cold-curing chicken soup... so now that we are prepared, no one will need to be medicated or cured. (You know, good ole' Murphy's Law!) Thanks, Mom for the good drugs for the kids... next time send some duct tape and we will be ALL SET!

I love the giant pots (used for cooking cous-cous and harrirah) and I have decided to stock up on my soup stock, so I am making an exceptionally big pot of chicken stock. Sure makes the apt. smell good!
