Aire de repose... and other restful things
When we could stand being in the car no longer... we took a break at a rest stop. here's what it was like:
I think this sign says "We have planted broken lighters and other dangerous trash in the sand to make sure you are being a good parent and watching closely... However it is not our fault but yours if your child hurts himself!"

That was a heartwarming video. I laughed. I cried. I nearly...oh, look at the time.
Having just started studying French, I'm already good enough to confirm your translation of the sign! However I think it says broken glass and lighters. Just jokin. Sounds like fun.
