Abby goes to the Medina with Mom

Abby got the first taxi ride of her life... quite a ride... she didn't stop chewing her lips until we arrived at our destination!

Here Abby is looking over the famous Tannery (super stinky, though... do you know what they use to tan those hides?)

Abby gathered a few admirers while she watched the tanners, so we took their pictures. The one in the light colored shirt waved first, then went and got his friend so they could both wave.

This is the silk shop where we bought Djellabas for Steven and Abby (and a pretty scarf for the mommy!) It was beautiful there!

At the spice shop Mom got henna on one hand and Abby got a tiny flower on one thumbnail (not quite ready to do the whole hand). Abby also took both of these pictures! Good job Abigail!

For a little girl who is hungry, there is not much selection of what is safe to eat or drink at the Medina. We took Faith's advice (Faith was our guide, and she is great at what she does, those venders are going to miss her and all the tourists she brings through) and Abby had a glass of fresh squeezed OJ - she was a good sport and drank up even though there was lots of pulp (and a few seeds)!

Is that the spice shop, with the special spices?
