New "Do" in EU
Ok here is the before picture, drab, long locks... add one trip to Europe to a chique hair salon where they didn't speak any English, and my Spanish was very limited... and you get...
This is the super cool - fresh from Marco Aldany's look as we wandered through Madrid!
It was great to look good when I was actually sick and feeling really under the weather. (see the next post for details on our trip to Spain) In any case, I was proud of my ability to communicate, and my style choice.
And it even looks good on wash and wear days (most days) when I don't have time to stand around with a hair-dryer straightening it enough so that it will get in my face and drive me crazy on windy days, which are most days, these days (yes, mom, I know that when I was a teenager I said I would NEVER get tired of my hair in my face... but then I became a teacher! AIIIEEEE what have you DONE to me??? hee hee) Here's a picture of me at the end of a windy day back in the reality of North Africa, with no special time spent fixing up the new do.

Ah, people with hair...
Hard to relate to all of this. When I wash, sometimes I don't also get to wear.
Like, I said... I'll fight ya for Heather's hair dryer.... 'cause, like the peach in the Veggie Tales video, I got hair!
