Christmas program

The girls had their first Christmas program with the school here. Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Liz got to see the show and said it was great. Fun to watch the girls singing and doing all the motions. Unfortunately Mommy had to stay home with a sick Steven. The girls were disappointed but I reminded them that Mommy would be around to go to their next program, but Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Liz wouldn't. (Whew... I feel like I've had a stay of execution! Until the spring program! LOL)

I did get to see the last song of the Christmas program at our church - I had just arrived from the airport with Grandma and Grandpa in tow. We walked in for the last part of the last song... so the pastor (having seen us arrive) hopped up and told the kids they were so good they needed to do a few of the songs twice! It was nice to hear them - they did really well- and it was a relief for the girls, who were getting upset that it was the last song and no Mommy had shown up to watch!
