T.I.R.E.D.

It's was a lo-ooooooong weekend for mom! And it's the first week of school for the kids - so we are all tired out!
T = too many things to get done
I= insufficient sleep
R= red eyes
E= even coffee isn't helping
D= dumbfounded by simple questions
The good news is - I have updated my personal web page with lots of Artwork (Click on the link to the right "My Website" and then choose "Artwork Gallery" from the links on the left side of the home page.) and you can go see what I have been up to this past 6 months or so, artistically speaking... that is.

Everyone had their first day of school on Tuesday (Steven's very first, in half-day-morning Kindergarten, and the girls returning as second graders) Mom wasn't very efficient and forgot the camera at several key points (mostly when everyone arrived at school, and when the girls got home on the bus) so my apologies if I don't have all the traditional first day back at school pictures of the girls... we will make up for it later with pictures of them doing something else.
Here Steven is posing in front of the school, next to the really-really old bell (we read the plate with the description and the date the school was founded, but all that information promptly fell out of the back of my head and no one was there to pick it up and shove it back in...).

Here is Steven getting off the bus at lunchtime - yes he wore a turtle-neck and shorts, said the turtleneck was protection from the bees (Remember the recent bee sting?)and the shorts were for the hot sunny day! I didn't have the heart to tell him that bees can sting legs and turtlenecks are really hot on sunny days. Sigh, oh well. He made it through his first day! When he got home Timmie (Beth and Boogy's dog, and son of my first dog Ghia) was there to greet him! It has been great having Timmie here, he is patient with the kids and very quiet unless there is something to worry about! (Never, thought I'd be a dog-lover, huh, Mom?)

*Nice* pic of you! So, I geuss it will be difficult for the kids, having to switch schools part way through.
