Enough about the floors, already!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!
I am lovin' my new floors! (yes, enough already about the new floors, I know)

Today gave three more examples of why the new floors are a vast improvement over the previous, carpeted floors.

Item 1: Mom spilled hot cocoa in the living room (easy clean-up, no guilt - sorry, no pictures of that fun)


Item 2: Seasonal rains. Steven reminded me that it had already been raining for more than 5 days... the forecast is at least another 7 days of rain. (I have SO missed the rain of the Northwest - I even helped Steven rake soggy leaves in the rain this morning, just so I could have an excuse to be outside in the rain.) Entry carpets are washable and leaves are easy to sweep back outside - and no worries!
