Well behaved visitors
We had a successful weekend, and all survived weather in the low to mid 40s (for all of you who don't know the conversion of C to F 40C=104F.) And managed to see some sights without anyone getting too far out of line.
We went to the Medina - renown to be the worlds oldest functioning renaissance market/living space. People who live there can take care of all their needs without ever leaving. They can do transactions at a bank, get their plumbing fixed (which is needed often) go out for dinner, buy a carpet, shop for clothes and food, etc. all within the walls of this twisty crazy maze of overwhelming sights, sounds, and smells.
Here the kids and I are purchasing some clothes for our summer in the states. Nice cool cotton, and for free they threw in the hat and a whole mess of those braided headbands. Durnit, guess we overpaid... they never give free things unless they feel guilty for ripping you off.
Here is a shot taken at the carpet store. A beautiful restored Riad . The men there were patient with the kids and allowed them to "help" roll up the carpet and even gave Steven a ride on the "magic carpet" (two men on each end and Steven swinging through the breeze at high speeds.)
We did get a chance to visit "Golubuless". Here is a shot of Gillian "Sampson" trying out the stone pillars.
On Sunday, Abby played waitress with the local supply of pollen. Oops, sorry for those who are allergic, you have to admit it did look pretty... (achoo)
As I expected our guests wore out the kids... they are just tough to keep up with. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the other two kids asleep to demonstrate that it wasn't just the potent location of the sleeper.

I'm glad they were on their best behavior and didn't give you too much trouble. It looked like a lot of fun!
