Delay in updates - my apologies

Sorry about the delay - I had planned on updating my blog during our vacation... but we had some nasty stormage and the wind and rain took it's effects on our internet connection.

No that is not really a picture from the storms here, but thanks for your concern - we are all fine, and it wasn't that big of a deal... you just get so used to the 70degree weather and blue skys here that a little rain and wind just seem to throw everything off kilter - I suppose our reaction (and that of the phone/internet repair people) is just like Western Washington when it snows... all the folks from Minnesota laugh when the cities close down, but it seriously happens!

Now that we are up and running and I have almost all of my grading done, I will be posting blogs like CRAZY!
