Can you hear me now...?

We got a special delivery from the States (Thanks again Paul and Charlene!) and in that delivery came a very important piece of equipment! Our Vonage hardware. (VOIP for you tech-ies) It means that we can use our internet conection (when it is working- see previous post) to call anywhere in the States and Canada for free (well, we pay a reasonable monthly fee) and for those of you in Vancouver, or with cell phones that have free long distance... you can call us too! Of course I will not post our phone number on the internet - but if you wanna call us, send me an email and I will give you the goods!
Here is a picture of Steven on his first phone call to his buddy Blake, back home. The trouble now is that with the time difference they are usually available to talk only on the weekends... during the week Steven is in school or asleep when Blake is avail. and Blake is asleep or in school when Steven is available (USA PST is 8 hours behind us currently). It's not a perfect solution - but it is helping the kids with the bits of homesickness. We also have a video cam on our computer so we instant message with Grandma and Grandpa (who also got a webcam) and talk over the computer too!
