Finally!!

My poor kiddos have lived a long time with only the promise of snow... but no real snow. We moved to North Africa in the fall of 2006 and have not seen any real amounts of snow since.

This December our Northwest home had record breaking snowfall - but we were in the Midwest where they were having an unusually snow-free Christmas. The snow all melted before we got home, and the day after we arrived home, it snowed in the mid-west and hasn't really stopped since.

My kids were jipped!

But today, providence smiled on us, and as the girls were getting ready for school - the snow began to fall. It will melt off, they say, by evening and already shows signs of that... but at least for one day - we had some snow!
