Camp
This past week we were able to, nay, privileged to be a part of a camp. The kids were campers (all three) and I was music director and errand-runner extraordinaire. Here are some fun shots of chapel at camp - first the music leading for the kids (up to grade 5) and don't forget my puppet sidekick "Moley"... but we don't have any photos of me jamming with the teens (got two of the boys to pull out their guitar and bass and they did an awesome job)
I do have a few photos of the teens playing "British bulldog" (my favorite is "the one that got away") I had briefly heard of the game, but was quickly educated about the 3 second lift that was required to capture players from one team to the other. The players used different techniques, some girls were rough and tumble, others gave up quickly with a squealy, high-pitched "Don't hurt me, I give up!", some kids ran fast and dodged well, others meandered and tried to look inconspicuous. Overall, there was a lot of fun and injury to be had. (See below for the "real" British bulldog... straight from the Queen's land and marked with battle scars.
