Le Toilette, c'est bon!
I am sure my French spelling is attrocious... but the bottom line is that the tiny ugly pink bathroom is now in full working order. How do I know this? It was a process.
First a repair guy, (I remembered him from the night of the potty party at my house)stopped by to find out when I might be home so that they could work on the plumbing. I informed him that I would be home after work at 4:00 the following day. Then, I waited patiently for a plumber to come the following day at 4:00 (get real, I knew he wouldn't show up on time, if he would even show up at all). But finally when I got busy with something else, there came a knock at my door (nope, the doorbell doesn't work, but that is SO much less important than the plumbing) and I answered it to find the workman. He said something in French or arabic, which I didn't understand so I pointed at the bathroom and ushered him in. He went straight for the toilet and began flushing it (Great, I thought... now the bakery guys will be up here to complain about the leak - I think we've already established that there is a leak... I thought he was going to FIX it!) Then, the strangest thing happened. The workman began talking to the toilet in Arabic. Now I know that if the toilet were to speak back, it would be much more likely to do it in French or Arabic and not English, but needless to say I was quite confused by this new repair tactic. Perhaps the workman was scolding the naughty toilet... What was even more surprising is when the toilet actually did answer back (in Arabic.) Ok, that was stretching it a little. Apparently there was another workman INSIDE MY WALL who had been repairing the pipes and was now verifying that they were no longer leaking. (Although it was lots of fun pretending that it was the toilet talking back.) From the few Arabic words I could understand, it seemed that everything was alright "coolshee m'zyen!" and I could now allow Steven to have his own private "Boy bathroom" back again. (Seem ironic that the "boy bathroom" is floor to ceiling pink?

Ok, so I discovered that should be "La" toilette instead of "Le"... sorry again for the bad French grammar.
What is it with pink bathrooms? Remember the pink toilet and tub we had in Sequim? hehe Glad it's all finally fixed. :)
