Family Camp in Fidalgo Bay

We had a great Memorial day weekend visiting with old Friends and making new ones at Family camp! It was great to be able to connect with everyone and to share about our exciting new future! I was thrilled to hear how interested everyone was - and I hope that they (you) all will continue to keep tabs on us via this blog (feel free to leave comments) and by sending emails (especially to the kids!)

The girls got to excercize a new measure of freedom within the camp-grounds, wandering from cabin to cabin, to dining hall to the big field, and everyplace in-between... just "hanging out" with their friends. Smilling, giggling, chasing, squeeling - all delightful memories that will warm their hearts for the months to come. Steven found some buddies to chum around with too. He spent his time climbing inside the "Pooh" tree (as in Winnie the Pooh), climbing the rock pile, climbing hills, climbing dirt-piles, climbing on people... basically monkeying around. Mom spent her time, resting, visiting, drinking camp coffee, and frequently wandering the camp calling for her "misplaced" children.
